IMPORTANT: The suggested donation amount on GoFundMe is a GoFundMe feature that cannot be turned off by the fundraising organizer. Please disregard GoFundMe's suggested donation amount, as it is entirely out of line!

This event is organized and staffed entirely by volunteers. Unfortunately, we don't benefit from financial sponsorships. In the absence of wealthy backers, the only way to provide hundreds of kilos of candy at more than 40 separate trick-or-treat stations is to collect contributions from each child's parent.

In past years, some families were unaware of the need to donate, ultimately resulting in a shortage of candy and an early end to the event. To avoid this kind of disappointment, and to account for the masses of children who arrive for this event, please ensure that you're contributing at least 5 EUR (or more, if you can spare it) per participating child. In other words, as an example, if your family has 3 trick-or-treating children, please donate at least 15 EUR to this fund.
